Kwikset - specifically Convert Smart Lock Conversion Kit with Zigbee

I wanted to automate the door lock to make it close at night but I wanted to keep the look of our old lock for our older home. This automates, is a solid lock and has the look I wanted to preserve for our home.

Yale assure SL Digital deadbolt is my pick too.

My 2 have the zwave modules, but you can also use a Zigbee module if that’s your thing.

These are rock solid and work great with Hubitat code manager etc.

Kwikset zigbee 914 and 2 Schlage Zwave Connects installed. I like the Kwikset zigbee better, even though Schlage appears to be a better built device.

I am surprised not to see Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro. It's z-wave and works with fingerprints.

Would love to hear you expand on your experience with this conversion lock kit in another thread. It's not one often discussed, but it seems to serve well when you want to "keep the look" while reliably automating the door.

I like the Albert Lock DB2s with Wifi module and Zwave module. I had it rekeyed to fit our other Kwikset locks, it will use cheap RFID tags on back of our phones, or key, or entry on keypad to enter. Has built in Lithium battery that can be removed and charged via USB. Integrates easily to Hubitat.
