I just updated to the new elevation app in response to being informed the old app is shutting down the end of this month. Now when i select my local only dashboards in the app I get the message "Cloud Access is Not Allowed for this Dashboard".
For the old app I didn't have this issue. I don't want to expose these dashboard to the web even with a pin #. I only use them at home on my local network. I'm running the C7 hub with the latest update. What is the issue?
Would help if you identify which OS... Android or iOS?
Sorry it is the Android app version. Thank you.
Changed the category to reflect...
Is there a solution to this? I have the same issue.
Based on the Android App home screen, the app defaults to a cloud connection. Is there some way of having the app default to a local connection if connected locally to the same network?
I see that in the app I can choose to connect locally which then takes me to the web interface. I'd prefer to be on the app interface on a small phone screen, yet connected locally. Is there some sort of setting I am missing?
ETA: @bobbyD : Any support or discussion page you can link to to address this?
If connected locally to the same network, the app switches automatically. There isn't a manual switch because the app doesn't see the hub on the same network, so a manual switch wouldn't help. There have been some enhancements to the app's network connectivity that are currently in beta. I'm having the same issue still, was this issue supposed to be addressed on 2.0.5 (273) version of Android that was released last week?
The app is always showing to be connected via Cloud so I can't add Z-Wave Smart Start devices via QR Code.
Thanks for your feedback, our mobile devs are looking into it, as it seems like the problem is more prevalent in the latest release.
Cannot view dashboards on remote wifi (shows HE icon forever, sometimes shows page not found), but works instantly on phone carrier network.
Also sometimes gets stuck on app's loading screen. Work around: clear cache and reload.

2 hubs. Only one allows local connection in app. Primary hub shows cloud. I can switch back and forth . But primary hub only has cloud access
@bobbyD
Is there any fix coming for this issue? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra on Android 14 currently. I tried uninstalling the app, removing the mobile device then reinstalling the app and setting up the mobile device again but still 100% of the time shows connected to Cloud when I'm on my LAN.
Staff have said that they're working on this, and are having a difficult time with it because they've been unable to replicate the issue. This is a relatively uncommon bug which are often the most annoying and difficult to fix.
