Hi, I tried to to install driver like in this explanation,

but after i got notified that installation i successful, there is NO menu to write the credentials for wifi like it appears in attached image.

What do you see instead? Or where are you trying to open to enter the password?

it should open space where i should enter wifi password, but after the installaton, notifies me that it was successful and that what i see(attached image),
there is no place to enter the wifif password and network name.

It mentions the drivers are not installed. Have you tried refreshing the page? Do you see anything in the Logs page?

after installation i see message that it is installed ,please look in new attached image

nothing in the log, another attached image

Have you tried refreshing the page?

If all else fails:

http://<insertHubIPHere>/hub/advanced/setWiFiNetworkInfo?ssid=<networkName>&psk=<networkPassword>

Should return a blank page, hub will need to be rebooted afterwards

i think the problem is that driver not really installed.
even after notification that driver installed,i can see that driver not installled

Another endpoint might solve that for you:
http://<insertHubIP>/hub/advanced/installDriver/all

again, a reboot may be required after.

It will install just wifi driver?
because i don't want to install drivers that i don't need

That was all it listed to do back when the dongle was first introduced

did it,get white page, done restart, nothing changed, I think, with all latest updates, nobody checked that the driver does not installs. Somebody from the stuff should check it .
thank you for trying to help.

I had this problem also when I first tried it and finally it was because the WIFI dongle I had bought was not compatible, When I got the correct one, all worked as it was suppose to. So make sure you have a compatible WIFI dongle, post link to the one you have or a part number so that we can confirm compatibility.

Here is the orignal post I had made about my problem...

i bought supported dongle, the problem happens before even before inserting the dongle.
Driver not installing,i got notification that installed but it is not installed.

You need to plug in the dongle before installing the drivers if I remember right, the reasoning is that to know what drivers to install, you must plug in it to know what dongle you have. Each dongle has a different driver.

So plug everything in, then install drivers, enter wireless info and reboot without the ethernet cable (if you leave it plugged in, it will always default to Ethernet before WiFi).

tried it now,it is the same, blue circle rotates like it is installing, but at the end even after notification it is installed ,it is still written on the page that it is not installed and no place to enter network id and password, like in attached image .

Tagging @gopher.ny, he might have an idea what is going on. But like I said, when it did this to me, although I was sure I had the right dongle, it was the dongles fault. But then again, it might also have something to do with the cable splitter if it's hardware related. If it's software Gopher will be able to sort it out I'm sure!

I have the same issue! Maybe some information to help diagnose:
I used to be able to access a wifi menu here
http://MY_IP/installedapp/configure/2/mainPage
That had more wifi network setup options than the below page
http://MY_IP/hub/networkSetup

I have since had to reset my Hubitat due to database corruption and I can only access the second link now. There does not seem to be a network "app." Only on that app page was I able to install wifi drivers and enter a password.

Hope this helps.

FWIW ive downgraded to the 2.3.7.146 release (from 2.3.9.166) and I seem to be able to set settings again.

I then was able to join the network. After upgrading firmware back the wifi still works. I am not sure how to explain this
