FYI
I recently did a security audit of my LAN which turned up this for Hubitat: 8081/tcp open http Jetty 9.4.55.v20240627. Comments: * CVE-2025-5115 (MadeYouReset): This vulnerability (disclosed late last year) affects Jetty versions 9.4.57 and earlier . It allows an attacker to trigger a Remote Denial of Service (DoS) by sending malformed HTTP/2 frames.

  • The Risk: Since Port 8081 is the Diagnostic Tool, an attacker on your network could potentially crash the hub's recovery environment or exhaust its memory while it's in a vulnerable state. Doubtful from the internet but not from a compromised host on the LAN.

We'll close that down shortly.
