I am currently unable to connnect GH and IFTTT to my HE. When I registered my HE it was one ip address and has recently changed to a different ip. If I reserve the original IP address and reboot the HE and router, will the HE re-sync to the original ip address and connect GH/IFTTT?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Yes. The hub will pick up the address that you reserve for it in your router after a reboot and GH/IFTTT should reconnect.

Ok, so I have reserved the original ip that was registered to the HE upon installation. Rebooted the HE and router, it did reconnect to the original ip address, but still will not connect to GH or IFTTT. Says to check connection settings. I am on the same network as the hub as well. What am I missing?
Are you using the same account for GH as you are on your HE? They have to match.
Ok, one more thing to check. In your logs do you see anything from the Google Home app? Also, in the GH app, try only adding a single device and then watch the logs to see if there are any errors thrown.
In my case, I had tried to add all my devices at once, but because of the way HE handles the integration, it was throwing errors on my Hue lights, so it wouldn't complete the connection. So, I started with one device and then added the rest from the GH app on HE.
Please post what you find out so we can maybe help @bobbyD with this, as a few users are having this issue, but I can duplicate it. Iām able to disconnect my Google Assistant account for HE and reconnect without issue.

Also, you may need to try multiple times. It took me three times to get it to connect yesterday. Where as today it works right away
One thing I found in my logs was this:
app:3322019-03-06 09:40:54.132 am errorsyncResponse Error: { "error": { "code": 404, "message": "Requested entity was not found.", "status": "NOT_FOUND" } } , giving up for now
And also:
app:3322019-03-06 10:43:12.049 am errorjava.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method div() on null object (postReportState)
So, I don't think it's JUST an issue on the GH side.

my HE logs show no activity from GH at all.
Is there a way to make sure the IP address that I have reserved is what was registered to the hub?
Or can I re-register the hub to the IP address I have reserved to maybe fix the connection to HE and GH.
You might need to look at the past logs.
Yes. You can go to https://portal.hubitat.com and log in with your Google account. Once the page comes up, you should see your hub and click on the (i) icon in the top right and it should tell you what IP address, firmware version, mac address, etc.
I have never been able to get GH or IFTTT to connect to HE. Even from installation of HE. That is why I was under the assumption that it had to be with original IP address that was registered with the HE.
OHHH!!! Ok. Sorry about that. I thought you had it connected previously.
Ok, did you verify your hub on portal?
No problem, I should've told you that. I'm sorry. Hate to sound stupid, but when you say "verify hub on portal" what do you mean? I have verified the IP address the google accounts. When I log into portal.hubitat.com using my google account it shows my hub and that it's active.
No worries! Ok, so when you are in the GH app (on your phone) and you go to the Hubitat skill linking, does it show you a home hub selection where you can select it and then select devices?
@bobbyD saved the day. I apparently made an error when registering the hub and the cloud registration had timed out during initial setup.
Leave it to me to make a mess of things. Everything has linked properly and is working. I did do as you suggested @corerootedxb and added a device at a time. So far so good! Thank you everyone for your help with this.
Yall are da best!

I was having problems with Google Home telling me hubitat was unavailable even though it should have been. I removed the Hubitat app for Google Home and removed the link to hubitat in my Google Home. Now when I try to add HE in my Google Home app it tells me that it is unable to link. From what I have read it may have something to do with my cloud registration of HE. @bobbyD or anyone else able to help me out?
