Version 1 had a metal plate just below the pushbutton that was supposed to improve signal reception. I'm toying with using a TR switch's helix drive as an actuator for a visual flagging device on the mailbox 250 ft from the house. The mailbox already receives a zb signal and HE sets an indicator light in the house and starts a TTS routine. However, if I'm away from the house when the mail is delivered I need a flag on the mailbox so I'll pick up the mail as I pull in the driveway.
I wonder which version has the better reception?
