If the title of this thread is to be taken literally, then the device would be Hubitat Elevation, and the community efforts would have to include Dominick Meglio’s (@dman2306’s) Hubitat Package Manager, Jean May’s (@thebearmay’s) Hubitat Information driver, Tony Fleisher’s (@tony.fleisher’s) Hub Mesh Details app, and, for devices attached to the hub, Robert Morris’s (@bertabcd1234’s) CoCoHue driver, Jason Bottjen’s (@JasonJoel’s) Smart Motion Component drivers, and many more community efforts.

"Devices elevated by community efforts" is the title. Hubitat Elevation "device" would be the platform that allows the community to build drivers that enhance user experience where our engineers didn't. There are too many exceptional apps developed by the community, for which a top 5 wouldn't make sense. Maybe in a future "Year in Review", we will include apps, but for now, 2021 only covers drivers. Hope this clarifies the omission of most popular apps.

+1 Ikea Shortcut button coupled with a firmware update (2.0.080). So far, the button doesn't burn battery and it works perfectly, thanks to @birdslikewires

Following my take on a driver for the Tradfri Shortcut Button I've cobbled more together to support the Symfonisk Sound Remote and the Tradfri Signal Repeater. Ok I think this is stable enough now to release as a beta. This is a package manager for Hubitat that makes installing and managing your apps and drivers easier. GHC is perfect. I try to avoid dashboarding, GHC is great for interaction with my smarthome (alarm, open door notifications, temperature control, light, etc).

HPM is just great for installing and keeping community stuff up to date

I was never an Iris user when it was a thing. But since its demise, I have collected many Iris components for my Hubitat (mostly motion sensors and door contacts). Just yesterday, I received an Iris security starter kit which included the V1 keypad. Finding out there was a community driver available for it made me so happy!

My home is elevated by having an NHL virtual device that flashes a bunch of colorful lights and plays a goal celebration. A virtual device is still a device, device states matter!
