Smart Start Z-wave Long Range won't include

I've got a C8-Pro on the latest release 2.4.1.174. I've been trying to get a couple New Kwikset HC620LR included using smart start I have gotten one of them to include in the "Mesh" but as far as I've been able to tell that's not Long Range. I have reset both locks a couple times and have left one of them over night to see if maybe it'll add to the Hub. From another thread on here I've gone into the z-wave smart start list on the hub and the info is in there (HUBIP/mobileapi/zwave/smartstart/list)

Any Hints/Tips on getting Long range to work

See this app and all the tips I have below. Start with this section: [APP] SmartStart Manager for Z-Wave (Long Range support) - #2 by jtp10181

When you scan the QR code does it default to LR mode? If not then the device may not even support LR, usually a LR device will scan in as LR.

How did it pair as Mesh? It would only do that if you changed the SS Boot mode, or paired manually via the hub UI.

Any errors in the logs when it tries to pair? Like a bootstrapping error possibly?

Any ghost nodes from failed pairings? How To Remove Ghosts using hub tools or a UZB Stick

This is easy to tell for sure. What data are you using to make this conclusion?

What is the Z-Wave node ID or the device DNI?

I've had your app installed, It does scan in as LR. but than sits as pending forever (one sat for a good 12 hours) and never joined.

I was playing around trying to see if it would include using smart start and swapped it to SS boot mode

I haven't seen anything in the logs

I haven't looked into Ghosts yet but it's on my list to check

It's just sitting as pending and never gets added (unless I add it and change it to SS Boot mode)

You need to check for ghost nodes, if there are any from failed Lock pairings those can prevent the lock from pairing again for some reason.

Thank you @jtp10181 I will give this a try when I get a chance and will report back
