Request that ZooZ 4-in-1 Sensor be removed from compatibility list (warn users when they add these devices)

Turning off S0 reduces the traffic of these by two thirds but if you have enough of them they can still cause problems.

I had 2 do that when added with the secondary. They also listed as having pending changes in the device properties. I was able to resolve by hitting the configure button in the device properties. I then pulled the battery and after replacing the configuration came down and resolved the issue. You may also need to move it closer to the hub to get it to take the update. You will know it worked when there is no longer any pending changes for teh device.

You may be on to something. I kept poking at this problem yesterday. The main offender has syncStatus reporting 1 pending change. I’ve been trying to force the device to awaken with a single push of the tiny button. Logs show device sync when I push the button, but always 1 pending change when finished.

For testing I have this sensor located in the same room with the C7. I pulled the battery, hit configure on the device page, then replaced the battery.

With debug logging on, I can see the device synchronizing parameters. But the log still shows 1 pending change. So does the device details page.

Can you confirm z wave stick still works? Everyone’s saying “so far so good” after couple days. I ordered aeotec stick. I’m seeing this z wave stick can be used for many purposes- ota updates, adding excluding, ghost nodes etc.. And which one did you purchase?

I have 8 zooz 4 in 1 motion sensors! Replaced with a mix of fibaro and eco, I need humidity readings for some of my automations.

Even with the no security stick inclusion you will have issues with that many sensors. Probably anymore then 2 and you'll start seeing problems.

Anyone think this new one is worth a try?

Even with adding them with no security and setting reporting to the minimum 24h I was still having occasions where my Zwave switches would stop responding for several minutes. I suspected it was the 4 in 1 sensors so I swapped them out for Zigbee motion sensors and have not had the unresponsive switch problem since.

I would say these 4 in 1 sensors are just not compatible with the C7 hub. I would not recommend using them even without security set.
