It is supported, I still have to add a picture and links in the fist post of this thread. The firmware is exactly the same as the round , ceiling mounted Tuya radars.

I don’t have exactly this device, probably @jw970065 can say if the performance differs from the ceiling mounted models.

The sensing ability to turn on the switch of this product is good. It reacts right away. However, compared to round ceiling type products, Off tends to be a little late. The ability to detect presence for a long time is also insufficient compared to ceiling sensors. However, this sensor has the advantage of being small and easy to attach to walls and ceilings.

Hey Guys, Lucky me finally got my TS0601 Ceiling mount device just got delivered ! In any event I have 2 questions:

What is the proper orientation for the cover? The cover has 2 different openings, 1 is a slot the other is a pinhole.
It appears there was a misstep or someone had a really bad hangover on the manufacturing line. And I want to be sure no components are missing or were damaged as someone cut through the plastic case with their teeth, a can opener, sawzall? Whatever it was it looks like crap.

Anyone else receive a device that looks like the photo?

I don’t have access to a PC at the moment and can’t see the picture very well, but it seems to me that there is only one sensor on the board, so position the bigger opening over the illuminance sensor.

Which model is this? Any reference to ‘fall detection’?

Probably what you see as a blank board is the silk mask over the mmWave antenna… let’s hope!

The fingerprint matches the one below. I find it incredible the variety of these devices, while being advertised the same. Does the word "Tuya" in Chinese translate to random chaos?

It’s the same device that I have. I am pretty happy with the presence sensing performance, it keeps the living room lights on when I am laying still watching TV about 4.5 .. 5 meters from it. I have mounted it horizontally placed on top of , a cabinet at the other wall of the room, aimed to the couch.

It is working perfectly. Hopefully it will stay connected like many of my other Tuya devices. I'm amazed at the incredible variety of Zigbee devices Tuya sells. Tuya is really filling a huge void in affordable Zigbee devices. I am so tempted to get one of their hubs, but not sure if its of any benefit or what I could use it for? Maybe a very stable Zigbee mesh..

And Krassimir, Tuya needs to put you on their payroll. I'm fairly certain they have sold thousands more devices due to your drivers. Again a huge thank you !

@kkossev, is this driver supposed to work with the OWON ZigBee Occupancy Sensor OPS305?

I have one, and the driver seems to recognize the device, but it doesnt register any events?

As I don't have this device I can not test it myself, but it was reported some months ago by another user that the driver works. Probably, something was changed since then.

Please enable de Debug logging and pair the device again to HE. Can you copy and paste the logs since the time the Zigbee pairing process started for this device?

What I see from the logs is that the binding command to the motion/occupancy cluster fails...
Will need more time to analyze what could be wrong.

Where did you purchase this device from? Last time I checked it was available for sale only directly from the manufacturer in China?

I think that I found and hopefully corrected the problem (binding to cluster 0x0406).
Please update the driver to the new dev.branch version 1.0.15 timeStamp 2022/11/28 7:48 AM and press the Configure or the Initialize button.

Is this device also supposed to report temperature and illuminance?

I wish I had been more closely following the forum when this thread started and everyone was bustling over radars. I really like the idea of them...all of you who got one are you still using it and what's the multi-month review?

Another question...most of the products recommended in this thread seem to be ceiling mount...I suppose I'm not terribly opposed to cutting random holes in my ceilings...but how in the heck are you guys getting power to them mounted in the ceiling?

I am and with great pleasure.

In my case, it's a bathroom ceiling with AC unit above the ceiling and ceiling light as well, so no problem to dd another main powered device.

Nice. Fortunate situation. I don’t think there’s a single room in my house where I could easily add a ceiling device. =( Definitely not in a way remotely close to building code compliant.

Which of the devices are you using?

Yes, I have two (different ones) and am actively using them both. I have the sinister black one and the wall mount one.

Work really well now I understand the parameters they operate under. The black one is limited range and not configurable, plus looks very creepy. The white wall mount one (same as the ceiling one people rave about) is good though - excellent range and tuneable. Both are 5v powered.

Will buy some more.
