And it is working much better, staying connected longer. Prior to the driver change, anytime I hit "configure" I would lose the ability to turn on the siren. Now I can configure and maintain the ability to turn on/off
Hopefully, the last major code changes... ver. 1.3.2 "2024/10/09 7:59 PM
Please test all the commands. I hope now that the sound and the lights of the outdoor solar alarm can be controlled:
Both() - both the sound and the lights (this is the HE standard command...)
Siren() - sound alarm
Strobe() - light alarm
Let me know if changing the melodies (1, 2, 3) works and what the names of these melodies are, if you can recognize/guess them. : )
Hey Krassimir, Again Thank you so much for your work on this.
It seems this device only has alarm sounds, no chime or melody like Aeotec Siren 6 or the Dome Siren, which is fine.
My American interpretation of the sounds
1= "UK Police Siren"
2=" Ambulance Siren" ie: siren that is not UK or US Police
3= "US Police Siren", that is assuming we haven't passed a law in the last 5 minutes to make it illegal to use the siren, as it might hurt someone's feelings.
Haha love Aliex for always making stuff look giangantic. The siren is about 8in x 6in and 2 in thick, (20cm x 15cm x 5cm). Kinda large when compared to previous smart devices, even the Ecolink 700 Siren but not the Swann One Zigbee(doesn't stay on mesh)
Tomorrow I will add the driver version that was present around September 2023 to the archive link on the first post, so that you hopefully have your device working with it until the bug is found and fixed.
i removed the device to try and repair it to see if that solved it but now i cannot get it to pair again with the hub.. sigh i can reset it (long hold button and it beeps and rapid flashjiong lights.. no pairing there) if i unplug and plug back in lights no longer flash and it still wont pair even after hitting button.. what am i missing..
The tip Krassimir gave me was to try pairing on top of the hub, within inches. It seems to help with certain devices. And if you have another hub, try pairing it to the other hub. I have had the same experience, where the original hub fails to re-pair a device, but the device works on 1 of my 4 other hubs
GOT A brand new one off ebay. pairs fine shows data.. but still will not make any sounds. tried on my other hub in nh in prep for the problem one.. think this device no longer works with hubitat
got it working but i think i see the probelm i rebooted hub and saw it check in and worked.
but as soon as i try the play sound command with the 3 options (it freezes up and no longer works for any commands) trying to reboot hub again now..
nope reboot didnt fix it.. it did come back with 2 msgs in zigbee logs. but still now does nothing.. will try the power.
