Meaning is there a way to test drive the device without having the device here in my possession? It seems that there is a device detection step that has to happen prior to the driver fully becoming available to Hubitat. So I am looking for a temporary virtual version just to see what I can do with this using Rule Machine and Dashboards prior to purchasing.
Fantastic! I checked out your work. Thanks for the link. Amazing stuff!
I'd also be excited about a constant-current ZWave driver. Let's hope @Gnant can get those going!
test drive the device without having the device here in my possession?
No.. this is not a capability.. All my drivers assume you have the device present..
If you’re just looking to see what features you can use, I’d just make a virtual device that matches the z-wave device.
That's exactly what I am looking to do. I tried this already some time ago. I made a virtual device then selected this driver. The device page was blank with only a blank device detection preference field, the Save Preferences button, and little else. Perhaps something changed but when I tried this again today it worked perfectly. The full device page populates as I have seen in other screenshots here. I was able to experiment/test exactly as I wanted.
Why it didn't work initially I do not know but I can confirm it works now (and the driver seems excellent)!
No 1005 support? Ironic that the one model I have, isn't listed!
No 1005 support?
?? Can you provide a link to this.. I can't find this on the website.. and I have drivers for all the z-wave products.. Is this a zigbee product?
And almost all the zigbee products have built-in drivers
The ZB-1005 has been replaced by the ZB-1025. The only difference is a small firmware change. These are Zigbee Light Link devices and work well with the generic Zigbee RGBW driver.

I never saw this driver of yours! Think it will work out of the box with the Zen31?
No.. I’m working on the zen31 next.. I had to get some other dev projects out of the way..
Cooool, can't wait! Thanks

1 more fix pushed for child IDs
Should be v2.2
When switching to this version make sure to hit save on the preferences to updated all the child IDs
Any operational advantages from the hub of the RBGgenie over the Zooz RGBW dimmer driver? The Zooz is about half the cost.
I was mulling over the same and eventually went with RGBgenie products. Zooz is just a controller and you have to buy separate power supply, so cost comes out to be the same (or even more depending on what power supply you end up buying). With RGBgenie, you can get an integrated supply & controller, which with the 15% off coupon code for Hubitat users (code is 'Hubitat') will come to be cheaper than Zooz solution.
Awesome products, I must say.
hello,
I have ZW-3001, I have it added to the hub, but i can't get anything working with it.
log does show that panel responses when I press on it
I used the mirror device in hubitat, but no response from the the device it self when you try using the panel. Thank you in advance.
If I use direct Zone 1 Associations with device i want to control it works, but i can't get it to work with Mirror in Hubitat. Thank you
Also on the Panel there are S1, S2, S3 and 1, 2, 3, how can i control they S# and #'s separate? Thank you
@bcopeland I'm having some trouble with a new ZW-4001 Trailing Edge Dimmer. I've installed your driver and paired my device. While I can get some functionality with the generic ZWave dimmer drivers your driver doesn't seem to work. There are errors in the log. I did try to exclude/include, re-install your driver, plus all the other typical troubleshooting steps.
What do you think could be the issue? I'm running a C-7 hub and firmware 2.2.5.124.
Thanks!
