It should be no different than the other platforms. The issue is your missing some necessary environment variables (the -e ones). I don't support MQTT so that OTR_HOST won't work. On the setup instructions in the app for recorder, all those entries in the "config" can be passed directly in the run command. You will need at least these:

• OTR_STORAGEDIR="/[HOME_PATH]/docker/volumes/recorder_store/_data"
• OTR_PORT=0
• OTR_HTTPHOST="0.0.0.0"
• OTR_HTTPPORT=8083

So the run command will look like this (you need to fix the OTR_STORAGEDIR path to match where windows made your 'recorder_store' folder:

docker run -d -p 8083:8083 -v recorder_store:/store -e OTR_PORT=0 -e OTR_HTTPHOST="0.0.0.0" -e OTR_HTTPPORT=8083 -e OTR_STORAGEDIR="/[HOME_PATH]/docker/volumes/recorder_store/_data" owntracks/recorder

Once a location has come in, the "OwnTracks" device (that will be it's full device name) will have an attribute for FriendsLocation that you can add to a dashboard. It's pulling from the Recorder "live map"

If you use the Recorder. NOTE: The mobile app dashboards do not display these (not sure why -- might be a javascript issue), but they show on the webpage on the phone or a PC:

• Each member has a selector to enable a 'LastLocations' HTML tile. It will show the past 12-hours of breadcrumb history in a dashboard
• When you open the app and click 'Done' a new 'Owntracks' device is created. In this device, you can enable a 'FriendsLocation' HTML tile that shows the current locations of all enabled family members.

I'm running Recorder, have two members set up (my S21 and another spare Android phone), so I think I qualify.

Feeling like a dummy - am not seeing the "FriendsLocation" enable option in the OwnTracks devices I have, in dashboard tile creationg Attributes list, or anywhere else I've looked. (Under my bed?) Device page:

Just installed this - great work! stumbled a bit - mainly me. I had BT's old Owntracks so had to kinda unwind some stuff.
I went to update other apps and noted that Battery Monitor doesn't see the OT device(s).. was that expected?

Yep- then turn on the "Create HTML FriendsLocation tile for all memebers current location" And hit Create Friends Tile

@jshimota Nevermind! I see I'm missing the battery capability from the driver. I'll add that to the next version.

Glad to hear you got it working! Yeah I use docker for Windows, but run docker-compose files, as I find it easier to maintain. That way I don't have to remember all the commands I used months or years down the line to rebuild a possibly broken container.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I was fun poking around with it today. Hopefully, tomorrow the new Pi will get here, and I'll get a chance to set it all up again on that!
