I recall coming across mention of it before - still no way to disable the blue light?
Assuming it can’t be disabled any easy-ish way to effectively block it/dismantle it?

There is no way to disable the LED from the Zigbee interface.
Do you have a fan or heating vent blowing on something that is making it move? Depending on what and where it is, it might be tripping the sensor.
Or maybe just a bad unit?
A static sensing level that is too high could do this - when I first put a sensor in one of my bathrooms that has a shower curtain, I had to lower the static sensitivity, it seemed like it was thinking the shower curtain was a person...other than that no experience like yours except w/the one that froze at one point and HE status got stuck on motion.
Hmm adjacent to my bedroom I do have my laundry closet which houses my hot air return circulation fan, which runs 24/7…
IF that were triggering as always active I’d also think it wouldn’t go inactive overnight
I can’t think of anything else that would cause it. I was going to try a different position. Yesterday but then I ran into the annoying blue led issue haha
Small piece of painter's tape or electrical tape for the quick fix. Disassemble and cover inside for the "real" fix. I like the blue light, and so far family visitors have been OK w/it.
Yeah might have to get some white tape for a short fix.
Having it in my dark bedroom at night facing me is no bueno!
You can get stickers specifically designed for this:

One buy and you'll have a lifetime supply.. assuming, unlike me, you'll remember where you put them the 2nd time.
Hah - yeah, I can see how that would be an issue!
Freaking interweb...it does have everything.
Combining it with a switch is a terrible idea. The placement of a mmWave radar is critical, and when it is combined with a switch, you have zero control over the placement.
I completely agree as a general rule, but for our old house's small main bathroom, that switch is actually in the ideal spot to see everything in the sink/shower/toilet area. As I do now with the Linptech, I will continue to use a Hue sensor to trigger the lights - that one's positioned so that it catches you the instant you break the plane of the doorway.
It's the only such switch in our house though - I wouldn't use a motion/presence switch anywhere else for the reason you mention.
I wish any solid player had released a proper presence mmWave sensor already.
All this aqara/tuya/linptech crap is just, well, crap.
No doubt! Perhaps Inovelli's switch will at least help move the needle on some other quality players getting in the game. I'm hopeful Inovelli will get it right, but perhaps this technology just really isn't well enough understood to be tamed yet or something like that.
It's a bit of a headscratcher someone like Hue hasn't jumped in so far. If my Hue could only see through the darn shower curtain, I'd be all set
Meh. Honestly I have had no problems with any Aqara stuff or this Linptech sensor. I have tons of them and they all work great and reliable for me.
I’m doing the same thing right now, except with a Third Reality motion sensor right next to a doorway of a bedroom.
An hour before sunset the 3RL sensor triggers the lights on on entry into the room and the Linptech keeps them on based on the micro movements that normal motion sensors won’t detect.
I was having too many issues in this room with a PIR sensor.
So far I’ve had luck with my one, hasn’t fallen off or hung yet.
I got another one to use in my office, hopefully I get good luck with both.
Good news for all Linptech owners...
The manufacturer has listened...
Firmware update received for Linptech sensor but not for Moes branded version.
@kkossev , longshot but any way to get this update through HE?
If we can get the file to HE, they can put it into the HE Zigbee FW update storage they maintain and then we can update our devices using HE.
I thought the Moes branded one was the same device though?
I guess there is something that would stop it from being compatible?
I just ordered a Moes one last night to give it a whirl.
