[RELEASE] Hub Information Driver v3

Think I should post in get help about this? I confirmed that it is accurate to what is in hub settings.

Locale, gmt and lat/long are correct?

Might check the lat/long in Hub Details to see if they are correct.

THEY'RE DIFFERENT! but how?

Normally set by the zip/postal code, but you can override them individually.

Yeah I was wondering about posting those but I figured it's like license plates. Anyone can see them. IP on the other hand....

That's strange I changed zip and rebooted and they are still wrong.

Actually...IP really can only get you so far since they're protected behind the ISP. They narrow down to city/state and provider, but not much past that....at least not from a google search.

Lat/Long on the other hand...one google search and I'm looking at your front porch. A quick search of the address and I've got the full name of the owner.

Do that then get your lat/lon copy pasted from your other hub then hit save

I didn't realize that it was editable at first but that's what I did and it's all good now.

I'm having a brain fart when it comes to the dashboard.

The preferences show the name of the template, but i don't see any hub related templates listed on the dashboard builder.

Also, i installed the aggregator, but the device dropdown is blank. Do I have a messed up install?

I realized i had the V2 version active instead of V3, so updated my device to V3.
Html attributes are populated.

The Hub Monitor app doesn’t work with V3 (nothing shows up to monitor). I know I can use RM, but HM was an easy solution.

Give me a couple, just need to add the v3 signature.

You are amazing! Thank you so much.

Should be fixed if you do a HPM Repair or a manual import.

I'm still seeing .132 as the current firmware version but I've updated 2x since then and I'm on .138.

Current States

  • cpu5Min : 0.1
  • cpuPct : 2.5
  • currentHsmMode : null
  • currentMode : Day
  • dbSize : 6
  • firmwareVersionString : 2.3.4.132

What am I missing? A refresh does not fix it.

How often does your baseData update? It is possible if the device queries the hub too soon after a reboot that the hub may not have updated the version string, but at worst you should be looking at one back. Hitting Initialize should force a run of baseData (after a 5 second delay).
