I do this using [RELEASE] Device Check Plus - Check selected devices, then warn you what's not in the right state (I believe there is another similar app still being maintained). Where I checked the:
It's great as it notifies me if there is an off state and tries to fix it. In this case if I have a door still unlocked it will force lock it.
