I recently purchased the Aqara Presence Sensor FP1E from Amazon after seeing it was one of the Compatible devices listed and wanting something better than a motion sensor. I was able to get it paired almost seamlessly, however, I am unable to get it to work correctly. I have tried the built in Aqara Presence Sensor FP1E and the Community driver (1.7.5). https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kkossev/Hubitat/development/Drivers/Aqara%20P1%20Motion%20Sensor/Aqara_P1_Motion_Sensor.groovy
The built in driver will keep it online but I have no functionality with it, see screenshots below. The community one would just go offline but acted the same as the built in. I am unsure if this is due to this device having a different out of the box firmware or if I am doing something wrong. Production Date is February 2025. I have tired repairing it multiple times and even without deleting as some users had to do based on community postings. Device is next to the hub with no obstructions.
Hubitat Hub is the C8-Pro running 2.4.3.123, I have tired troubleshooting on the last three versions as well. Zigbee is currently on channel 24 with a power level of 8. I have not touched any of these settings.
My device has the same firmware (application) version 1C.
Some of the Aqara devices are hard to pair to hubs different than Aqara's own hubs. This one is not an exception...
Try using this pairing workaround . An even better description of the process is here . Keep the debug logging enabled - anything in the live logs after two consecutive pairing attempts using this voodoo?
