Monoprice zwave plug on/off

I have two of these that i have use with the ezlo hub that i am replacing. I have unpaired them but cannot get them to pair with hubitat c8. They are listed in the devices in add device.
I have repaired with ezlo, successfully and unpaired. Still no luck on hubitat c8.

Can you get the exact model number off the device?
Or provide a link to the product page.

try excluding it first from Hubitat, do it twice, reboot the hub, then try to pair. Make sure the ezlo hub is unplugged during Hubitat pairing

PS is it the square plug?
This one?

If so, it was finicky to pair but rock solid for years after.

I just paired that to my C-8 Pro.

No it is not one it is

Has worked with the ezlo.
I have done the include excluding repeatedly many times. Still pairs with the ezlo.
Getting very frustrated with this hub.

Sorry i replied on my email where i received your question but didn't realize that does not work.
It is a monoprice p/n 11995 plug in switch.

That looks like a very early GE/Jasco Zwave plug.

Don't get frustrated with Hubitat -the issue is the plug. Excluding /re-pairing is insufficient for these for unknown reasons. You need to reset the thing, then try to pair with Hubitat. It will probably take numerous tries.

FWIW I have a few of these (a bit newer model). I ended up having to repair all my devices after an issue (subscribe to Hub Protect), and one of them re-paired fine after reset, and the other took me at least 20 attempts...

No it is definitely monoprice, maybe 3 years old.
There is no factory reset available for the device. It is listed as compatible in add devices, monoprice, plug-ins.
Sadly this is not my only frustration with hubitat but that is not my current question.

20 is a small number for where i am with this.

I think it is a rebranded GE/Jasco.

What is the model number of this monoprice device?

Don't know model isnt on the device or the manual but the part numbers is 11995

It's a rebranded Vision Security device (they were also sold by GE/Jasco as a 4101, Honeywell and others). Here is the manual:

If the reset does not work, try unplugging, then pressing the button for at least 30 seconds to drain out any residual power. Then to reset, press the button and hold; while holding, plug it into the outlet, and continue holding for more than the 10 seconds directed - try 15 or see if any lights flash.

Another post indicates these need load on them to reset - I'd try that last.

This is a later version of the device, but might help:

ETA: This might also help - similar but slightly different process - the exact process may depend upon which version of firmware yours have:

I tried the hold button while plugging in and nothing. Then in a fit of frustration i hit the button many times and it was almost immediately discovered and included. Who says banging on buttons doesn't help.
Thanks

Glad you got it paired - this family of devices is annoying...but once they are paired, my experience is they are rock solid...
