Mode Manager - Disable Switch Mode Change For Certain Modes

I have AlarmDecoder installed which has a nice virtual switch that gets set whenever my alarm is in Away mode. So cool, I tied the HE Away mode to that using Mode Manager and the away/return from away settings. However, I have a custom mode I call Vacation. I set this manually when I go on vacation so I have Vacation Light Director running. The problem is, I want to disable the Away mode getting triggered when in Vacation mode. That doesn't seem possible though because the "switch trigger" for Mode Manager doesn't have an "ignore mode" setting. Is there anyway to do what I want? Would I have to stop using Mode Manager and instead write custom rules?
