Do heed Bryan's warning.
This is community provided code, not an official HE driver. Bryan is a very talented developer, but I completely understand his warning that he doesn't take responsibility for unexpected damage caused by this freely provided code. It's completely reasonable. A botched firmware update can render a device completely useless.
I'm guessing Alfred is going to want that old Z-Wave module returned to them. If they find that it's been tampered with or damaged by you, as unintentional as it may be in your view, they may charge you for the module replacement.
Best to wait for the new module to be sent to you. Just my $0.01 CAD ($0.02 USD)

Ya know, being an American and having experienced American life 30 years South of the border and 21 years North of the border, I'm quite familiar with the concept of nothing exists outside the US.
We Americans tend to automatically assume that if there's a dollar sign, it's of course US dollars (not true of course), and everyone in the world has a ZIP code, which is just plain ignorant because only the US has ZIP (Zone Improvement Plan) codes, which wasn't introduced until 1963. Before that the US also had postal codes.

100%. @bcopeland's code does take EVERY POSSIBLE precaution to prevent this from happening. But he can't prevent an idiot from being an idiot. Like the jackass penning this reply - who managed to bring his z-wave network down to its knees by not excluding firmware updated devices that were factory reset before including them as new devices

Alfred support just got back to me. They are mailing me an updated Zwave Module. Will report back once received and installed.

i just got the new zwave module from Alfred. I'll install it shortly. Do I need to do another reset before and have HE rediscover it? I want to make sure i do this exactly the right way.
you should remove and exclude the existing lock, replace the zwave module, then include it again.

there should be no need to re-install LCM.
the driver for this lock will try to read all the existing codes contained on the lock, however the db2 firmware isn't capable of sending the actual codes, so any existing lock codes on the lock will be represented by ????.
If you see lock codes in current states with ???? for the code then each of these codes will need to be deleted, then re added to the lock.
do this first before trying LCM
Once you're able to delete and add lock codes successfully from the driver you shouldn't have any issues with LCM
I don't think this is a DB2 firmware issue. I can retrieve lock codes from my lock with my system.
Ok, sorry for the delayed response, I had to actually do some work for my job, lol, Pesky work! lol. Anyway, the 3 codes come over without ???. These are actually what I added with the old module. I tested one of them and it worked just fine on the lock, so I am good to go here. Thanks so much @mike.maxwell. This is why HE is the right hub for me!
