Installing new Philips hue pro bridge

Hello there
Have anyone here migrated to the new hue pro bridge yet? and added the new bridge to Hubitat?
Im running a Hubitat C8 pro running 2.4.3.172
and 2 hue bridges
So the thing is this:
I already removed all hue lights sensors etc in Homekit
and I would figure I gotta remove all hue related on Hubitat too and remove both bridges
Then fire up the new pro bridge and migrate bridge 1 and 2 to the new bridge
after that use hue bridge integration if the app is updated to handle the new bridge.
The biggest issue will be to add all the hue lights, sensors etc again on my dashboards
unless if theres a workaround for that.
Maybe I dont even have to removed all Hue related except for the bridges perhaps?
anyone having any tips or have already migrated to the new pro bridge

Please provide your hub model (C7, C8, etc.) and its platform version from Settings>Hub Details.

It's much easier than what you've described. I'll link to the post I created when looking for help a week or so ago to do similar. Everything remained intact, the only thing I needed to recreate was the connection to Home (the new Hue Bridge Pro uses Matter not Homekit and so it needs deleting and doing again)

Hello Johnwill1
thank you for your input, Ill check it out later tonight,
Im gonna take all my outside Hue GU10 bulbs into the house and use for my both bath rooms and buy the hue essentials GU10 color for outside instead, when I have aveything in Ill start the progress
but Im relieved to hear I may not have to change anything at all, I will however switch off the connection to Homekit with the other bridge that is still online in Homekit, then after the new bridge is live, Ill reconnect each room at a time to homekit to make sure everything will go to the right rooms, but thanks again for the link, it did not show up when I was searching hue pro bridge

My migration was fairly painless. I think one bulb needed resetting and re-adding but once I started teh process on the new bridge pro it took about 15/20 minutes. The main pain point for me in the Home app was that bulbs didn't end up in the right rooms so I had to move them. That's easy enough so long as their descriptive names in Hue indicate the room. Also most of my bulbs are GU10's in ceiling downlighters so I had to regroup them again to act as a single light which is how I prefer it in the Home app.

I migrated last week. Pleasantly surprised at the ease of it. Did the migration from the Hue app. Then as others have mentioned, apple home needed to be re-paired. Hubitat required just opening the app and changing the bridge IP to the new one. Everything slotted in as appropriate, and I didn't need to re-add anything. Home assistant required adding the new bridge, but it inherited all the lights and I didn't need to redo any individual bulbs/plugs/buttons. I've been waiting for something to not work because it was almost too easy, but all good almost a week into it.

ok so let me just be sure, did any of you migrate more than 1 bridge?, as I have 2 old hue bridges to migrate over, 1 for all lights etc indoor and no 2 have all outdoor lights and sensors

I only had one. Sorry.

haha no worries Im sure it should work fine when both bridges have been moved to the new one, Ill however write down their ip addresses and subnet as well just to be sure
