Received the unit. Paired with no issues. Changed to kkossev driver. Everything works ok.
Except, I can't seem to get a remote to connect to the unit. I have a fixed code remote. I press the manual button on the relay unit until the blue light comes on. Then press and hold remote button. The light on the relay unit finally blinks off. But the remote doesn't do anything.
Am I doing that correct?
Solved the problem with the remote. I originally had it powered using the 5V. Decided to try the higher voltage power. Then it worked like it was supposed to.
Can someone with a ZG-2001 please confirm if their device is still working as expected.
I originally set mine up over 6 months ago and it was working as expected in self-locking mode.
I just had to repair as it was not responding and after this the child devices are now behaving the same as the parent in that they change the state of both channels instead of just one.
The manual buttons on the switch are operating the channel independently as expected.
Trying to work out out if there's an issue with my device or if a Hubitat update broke it.
This is a typical Tuya device behavior when paired to a non-Tuya hub or non-eWeLink hubs…
Change the driver to Zemismart ZigBee Wall Switch Multi-Gang driver and then pair it again to your HE hub (without deleting it, just pair once again).
This is an interesting data point given the spec on these relays saying 5vDC is fine.
I have a single channel version of this relay crammed into the light module case of one of those dual solar motion sensing lights you see sold in Big Boxes.
I've disable the light's motion sensor, and the light module the relay is stuffed into so that I have extra power to supply the relay from the light's solar charged battery bank (which provides something like ~7vDC).
This works for the short amount of time my automations turn on that light...except in the winter. While I am pretty sure there is 5vDC or more available in that battery bank I do loose the relay when the lower solar recharge & cold weather drops the available power.
