I updated my hub to 2.3.9.135 and the Google Home Integration stopped working. I tried to reauthorize Google Home with HE from the Google Home app but it gave this error.
This came up really late in the beta and they thought it was fixed, a few people replied (in beta) saying it was working again on one of the last builds. Maybe something else got missed @gopher.ny ?
It's working fine for me here (I use HE's native GH integration).
Have you tried hitting "Done" on the GH app within HE, wait a minute and then asking your GH device to "Sync my devices"? That usually helps reset things for me. But it could be a cloud issue on Google's side too - then you just need to wait it out.
ETA - I'm on .135. During the Beta, I had the bug Jeff mentions above, but it was resolved in with the next Beta build (which is now incorporated into .135)
I did that first when I was troubleshooting it. I went to the HE Google Home App and hit done and asked Google to sync devices. It didn't work so I went to the GH app to reauthorize the integration with HE and that is when I got the error.
Rolled back HE and it authenticated and went back to working again so it sounds like there still might be a bug out there.
I am happy to try again to help identify it if anyone has suggestions on what to do to identify where the problem is.
I did not change any devices, I just updated HE to the new version and then GH was not able to see HE devices and gave me that authentication error when I tried to reauthorize from the GH app.
I had the same problem. Downgrading to platform 2.3.7.146 fixed it for me but I think anything before 2.3.9.135 would have worked. Were there recent changes to the HE Google Home App?
