Google Home: Keep getting hubitat could not be reached message

Tried rebooting the hubitat and network can access all hubitat features from app and devices from dashboard but can not connect to Google home. Removed and reinstalled the home app nothing. Any help appreciated

If you removed the app on your hub, you will need to re-authorize it from the Google Home side so it can reconnect to the re-installed app (it will have a new ID number). That was probably the worst thing to do as a first step.

What platform version is hub running?

Go to: My Hubitat and then Registered hubs > Hub Details
Check the last activity and Active? That tells you if the hub is making a cloud connection.

Bingo, Thank you
I really appreciate the quick reply

Didn't work for me. Had GH integrated for years then when the update that included new features like fans/locks came down I installed, added it via the home app within hubitat and it messed everything up. GH wouldn't resync with Hubitat. I uninstalled GH from hubitat and removed hubitat from the GH home app. As i go to redo everything I find it's all changed and the GH embedded app is replaced with a how to?! Even then when I go through the process of adding my hubitat to GH it gets all the way to the last step and then it says it can't reach hubitat. I check out my hubitat and see GH was automatically installed. Great, except GH still refuses to communicate/sync. I've rebooted hubitat, my phone, reinstalled GH, etc and nothing. just fails at the final step evey time.

Once the app gets installed in HE, open it up and just select one simple device to share, like a switch, then click Done. Then from GH on your mobile try to connect to Hubitat again. It should find that existing app with the one device shared.

Once its working you can add more devices from the HE app and click Done.

I did that and it somewhat worked. The single device allowed for GH and Hubitat to link, however, I tried adding 3 more devices (all the exact same device type) and asked google to sync my devices. It said something went wrong with hubitat. Then about 10 minutes later I reopen my GH app and those additional devices are there. I thought maybe the inclusion of additional devices is now automatic in the background but I went ahead and added several more and no dice.

Usually if you add new devices I thought you just needed to add them in the HE app and click done, which pushes it to GH. They did just do some updates to the HE side to support more devices so perhaps something is broken with part of it.

In my experience, when adding a new device and exposing it to GH I always had to ask Google to "sync my devices" in order for that device to be pushed otherwise it'd never show up.

That might be the case, I only use GH for testing things, on the day to day I use Alexa and Homekit.
