I see in the update notes for new devices that the Aqara Presence Sensor FP1E was added in 2.3.9.184, but then in 2.3.9.193 a new device described as: Aqara Presence Sensor FP1E (FP1E).
Are they any different or was this just a typo? If the FP2 supported in-house yet?
Currently it’s just the FP1. I don’t have any knowledge of the FP2 device.
The Aqara FP2 is a WiFi only device, that does not yet support Matter. It does support Apple HomeKit, which is how many of us have integrated the FP2 with Hubitat (either using Home Assistant + HADB as the local 'bridge' between the systems, OR using virtual devices with Apple Home + Apple Home Automations.) I think a few folks have even recently started using SmartThings as their 'bridge' platform between the FP2 sensor and Hubitat. However, that MAY require a cloud connections 
How do you connect the FP1E directly to Hubitat? It either times out without discovering the device via zigbee or says it is initializing then proceeds to timeout.
I am using the Double Luck Voodoo almost all the time when pairing Zigbee devices in the last months.
Aqara FP1E (and some other new Aqara devices) are challenging to pair directly to C-8. There are quite a few comments on this topic here.
