I do realize this is an Echo/EveMotion issue, and nothing to do with Hubitat, but wanted to ask the community just in case I'm missing something.
Last April I installed motorized roller shades from EveMotion. I acquired the Bluetooth versions and then upgraded them to Matter over Thread. If you're interested, you can read more about that crazy journey in this post from last year.
So, at this point, my shades have been operating essentially perfectly, and my automations being driven by Hubitat, but routing through the Echo Hub as TBR, are also working perfectly (closing automatically mid-day based on weather, etc.). However, in the past couple of weeks, I've been having multiple occurrences of the shades becoming unresponsive - when I open the Alexa app, they show a red error..."Device is Unresponsive." I reboot the Echo Hub and that doesn't immediately solve the problem, although they do seem to come back online after about 10-15 minutes. I'm not sure if the hub reboot is actually resolving the connectivity or not. What I have found is that they seem to reconnect after I operate them manually using the pull-cord switch. I just can't figure out why they keep dropping off. While that has happened maybe 2-3 times in the past 10 months - I wrote those occurrences off as random - it's now happened about five (5) times in the past two weeks. And I can't figure out what's causing it.
So, I'm curious if (a) anyone out there is using a setup like mine, specifically EveMotion blinds, running Matter over Thread and using an Echo Hub as the Thread Border Router; and (b) if you've been experiencing any issues like this; OR (c) you have EveMotion Blinds but are using an Apple HomePod as your TBR and are or are not experiencing this (when using a HomePod, you're able to retain use of the EveMotion app, which I suspect makes things easier overall).
Also curious if there are any Matter over Thread gurus out there that might advise me on how to better troubleshoot this when it occurs. I've poked around in the Alexa app to see if there's any useful information and there doesn't seem to be.
Thanks in advance for any input.
