Conditional Tile visibility

Is it possible to have tiles (either default dashboard or smartly) that conditionally show?
e.g....

• a door that is closed 90% of the time only shows a tile when open
• a door is open during a certain time window
• Music tile that only shows when music is playing
• Camera tile that only shows when doorbell has been pressed, motion is detected at certain times of day
• When multiple conditions are co-occurring (HVAC is on, and skylight is open)
• It's Tuesday evening

Conditionally Hide / Show Dashboard Tile

I have found a solution of sorts... Background I have been using Tile Master by @bptworld which now allows for device control through the Maker API, i.e. flicking switches, etc. I also use the Logitech Harmony integration by @ogiewon, which is what I want display controls for conditionally on my dashboard when an activity is active. Is it possible to create a conditional tile? Visible or not depending on state

In HomeAssistant I had a panel that I set up that only displayed lights or switches that were on, doors that were open, etc. The device only showed up if the device was on, open etc. It was really convenient to just glance at the panel to see that someone left the door open.

Hide Dashboard Tile

Change the colors the Switch Template's off state to same color as your dashboard's background. This will give you what you want for ALL switch tiles on your dashboard. If you just want just one tile to do that, I am not sure if that can be done. This is mine. All of that black space are tiles that are off/inactive so that the foreground and background colors are black. [image]

Hubitat is not going to be a drop-in replacement for other platforms and I would approach your move with an open mind. The reason you used those things was because that is what you had to work with. If you had come from another platform you would have wanted to do those things with whatever had been available with them. Have a look at HE with fresh eyes. You may find other ways to do some of those things in new and more useful ways.
