Adding Iris V1 kills zigbee

The thought of that is funny  but no. The only place I started working on this was the tablet. No separate sessions or browser windows. Solely in the Hubitat app.

I ended up opening a support ticket about this …

weird I have plenty of the iris v1 window/door sensors spread across 4 hubs ranging from the c4 to c7 and never ever had this issue.....

Any back door to a nuclear reset that you might be aware of?

a manual hard reset? yes goto your hub ip and add :8081 to the end ---- that will let you do a factory reset -- it clears out everything

Don’t see the factory reset there …

The soft reset retains the “loop”…

So you did a soft reset and started over with a new setup (not a restore) ?

Yep went through the tutorial, update and all. No restore, just blank setup from scratch.

It popped right in the logs…

Happens in safe mode too.

Did you also reset the zigbee/zwave radio?

This time, the pairing didn’t register In the logs after the soft reset. Restoring 3 day old cloud backup.

I really don’t know if the soft reset on 8081 is any different from the one within the app (I wouldn’t think so) but apparently THAT reset, did it.

I probably reset it 4 or 5 times from the mobile app interface … that always came back with the loop.

Did it once from a browser with :8081 … back in business …

Now … let ,me tackle that sensor again …

Sensor registered. All good.
