Zwave not joining

This post is concerning my C7 hub on platform 2.4.4.133

I can't seem to join any zwave devices. IIRC when this happens it's time to do an orderly shutdown and wait 3 or 4 minutes before restarting. This will cause zwave to reload and fix the problem. is my recollection correct?

Please provide your hub model (C7, C8, etc.) and its platform version from Settings>Hub Details.

That is often the solution but you MUST remove power by unplugging the wall wart AFTER shutting down.
It is a safe thing to do.
But if that doesn’t solve your problem, come back here for more discussion.

Careful, I've created many a ghost with my C7 and Z-wave. If you have a stick I'd say make sure it's joined to the hub before trying again to pair anything.
And yes a restart and power pull does wonders
