I have a C8 regular hub running latest FW. I am looking at the Zwave details and there's quite a few 'Discover' nodes that I'd like to get more information. If it could give me the device specifics, I could be better at looking at the device itself to figure out whats wrong.
Anyone know how to get more info on these nodes? See screenshot below...
If the hub had it, it should show it, so this is probably the result of a failed inclusion. While it's impossible to say exactly, then, the most reasonable guess is that it was a failed attempt to include the next successful node (or whatever you may have been trying at tho time).
Assuming you have no reason to believe they are functional, it is generally best to remove these. This document has more on that:

Thanks for the quick response!
There is no link/button to remove these nodes. Please advise if there's an alternative end point or workaround to getting my device list orderly again.
Did you try the steps in the document for removal?

Yes, have tried and still unable. Clicking on refresh until remove shows up, then clicking on remove. Have also tried shutting down hub completely, unplugging power for 2 mins, then restart and trying everything again.
See screenshot below:
Yeah that usually happens if there is more than 1 neighbors showing. It seems to be a bug in the Si Labs provided z-wave gateway being used on the hub. Only other option is to get a USB stick and remove then with the Si Labs developer software. There is a guide on the forums How To: Remove Ghosts using hub tools or a UZB Stick
I just went through this on a hub for someone. Had a dozen or so dead nodes with the Discover button. Once I got the software setup I had all the ghosts removed in 15 minutes (mostly waiting after clicking the remove button).

Can I use the Nortec HUSBZB USB Stick that came w my C4 hub?
Yeah it would probably work, you will have to reset it to pair it to the current hub, so as long as you are not using it on the C4 anymore.
Thanks, the trouble is getting the darn thing to work on my Virtual Machine running Win11.
Should be able to just install the Simplicity Studio on there and then pass the USB device through to the VM. I think others have done this on a Mac before without too much trouble.
It's been showing up as unknown device in Simp Studio. I have the ARM windows 11 so thinking its an around this difference in OS arch...?
Go to device manager and find it (should be under COM devices), have it scan and check for a driver to see if it finds a better driver.
I think as long as you can select it in Simplicity, it should work no matter what driver it is set to. But you can also force windows to set it to one of the first two SiLabs drivers (in the Si Labs section if you manually select a driver) that simplicity installs.
Maybe that old stick is not compatible though? But people have used all sorts of different ones, never heard of an issue before.
