Zooz mystery

I installed 3 zooz (zen72) dimmers in my bathroom. They did the dimmers set up and they are working fine, kind of. When I clicked every one of them, they responded as expected. I also installed "Mirror me" app. One of dimmers - main one - controlled 2 others. Again, when I clicked on all dimmers, they were responded fine. And one more thing, I told my Alexa when I say "goodnight" to turn these dimmers off.

And here is the mystery: All of the sudden dimmers turn on and off by themselves. I am not sure when or how can it happen. Usually, it happens after I say Alexa goodnight. It turns dimmers of and after a while the dimmers are on again or maybe not. I am really not sure how to test what's going on here. Any help?

Ensure that the Alexa "Hunches" feature is off/disabled. I'm not an Alexa user, so I don't know the how-to details, but Alexa's Hunches are often the culprit behind mysterious actions.

Go to the device and click the Events tab.
Post a screenshot of the events from when it was turning on/off by itself.

It could be the Alexa hunches, here is how to turn them off:

Hunches is on by default. You can turn it off in the Alexa app, or by voice. Say "Disable Hunches."

It was much more compact when I saw it in the logs. I am not sure why it is so verbose here

A literal screenshot of the applicable logs is the best way to post logging info here in the community.

Please follow the directions @jtp10181 provided.

Screenshots are not only more compact, but they are also more readable as @hydro311 indicated.

Thanks!

Above is the event log of the device I blame
I disabled Alexa hunches and see how it will behave.

I also wonder can this behavior be because of some electricity sparks?

If you've witnessed electricity sparks anywhere, then you have much bigger problems than this issue.

What @hydro311 said - get the sparking issue resolved.

Also, what you're providing is not a screenshot. Might want to Google that.

I wanted the entire events list but that one event you posted is showing “master bath main” turned it on. Not sure if that’s an app or the device itself?

Yes, it is

Yes it is what? The device itself?
If that's the case the change did not originate through Hubitat, the device turned itself on.

If it was from Hunches you would se the event would be produced by the Amazon Skill

Possibly a wiring issue.

I am probably doing something wrong. How can I post all master bath main event log? I went to device screen, find the device (master bath dimmer) and press on the event tab. Then I pressed on CTRL/A and posted it here. Did I do it right?

No, just scroll to a section where you had un-intended events and take a screenshot, then post that image.

If Alexa hunches were turned on go through your rooms and groups in Alexa and make sure it didn't place the switch with some room or group you didn't want resulting in it acting with some other command. I speak of first hand knowledge of this happening to me with lights and switches and I couldn't figure it out it till I checked those. Alexa through hunches put the device in two different groups causing unwanted actions.

May not be the problem here but you will want to check to make sure.

I disabled Alexa hunches. Soo far so good.

It's been 3days since I disabled Alexa hunches. At this moment it seems it my dimmers behave as expected and I put this problem to rest.

But I am still confused how come Alexa hunches can have such effect

It is exactly as it sounds, Alexa has a "Hunch" you may want the lights on or off so it changes them for you. It uses past behavior, time of day, if you are home or away, etc...

I have it enabled still and once configured correctly it can be useful. If my kids leave the lights on in the middle of the night it will turn them back off sometimes.
