Zigbee Power Strip

I recently bought this from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/UseeLink-Protector-Individual-Protection-certified-White/dp/B09XQC37Z8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=AZFGNMKXTBP0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8MXwiLQXizaaRp2nDxVfe8TpBl6z_LARq6JjgHAPHaXSIvJGw-4vwYff1TUYFzPDGFJN7sxmRBgPCK27WzOyQRqr56jWrDqcug0BwgSew2weLMevR437pKMbsfAPO-OE8wej7SBG4WyZCS11rxCLNOTitSS6V-SC_nSiy1iSs9KLqjzrzSTD_Nt1RsCqS4XFYbo2yrRSI4iXPnSCsWS27uH-KOkFOs66SlK_1RQfIW1RIFXrH5ilprrrca6iyKztgCC2IdFEWjUCFwErAZxe_jSlN6FEdKB4vmx5I4bc4gQ.BNwCYJJnN9i4GxLcS_mkvtaWapRp2bv48JO4vdLbfjA&dib_tag=se&keywords=useelink&nsdOptOutParam=true&qid=1728071414&sprefix=useelink%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-5

I am struggling to get it to work. When pairing it sometimes gets stuck in initialising, when it eventually pairs, it seems to go dead. From this thread, I think there is a problem with the pairing process and it's removing itself fromt the network after pairing.

Did this ever get solved? If so, how? If not, is there a similar device I can get in the UK that will pair and work with Hubitat?

Thanks
Chris

When you get it to pair, what driver is it allocating to it?
I do not have this strip but I do have a few others which have got to work.

By default it’s the Generic Zigbee Multi-endpoint switch.

I did try changing it to Device and pressing get info to get the details, but after the Get info command is sent the log is empty, as though it’s just not responding.

That's what mine are using.
What do you get in the data section?

  • endpointId: 01
  • application: 64
  • isMultiEP: true
  • manufacturer: _TZ3000_cfnprab5
  • model: TS011F

@kkossev
As the Tuya guru :wink: any thoughts on this one?

Did you get anything in the 'Component Devices' section?

@montyonthebonty
Just found this.
Not sure it helps.

Yes, it’s created the child devices correctly.

I’ll have a look at that one - might be an option if I can’t get this one working.

It’s quite frustrating - I think Hubitat is one of the best hubs out there, but trying to find compatible devices…

I’ve got a couple of what appears to be the Aussie equivalent, that have been rock solid.

They have quite loud relays :laughing:

I honestly can’t recall if I had any issues pairing but IF I ever do have issues, with new devices being discovered and then not performing as expected, I remove the device, then do a PAIR with the device close to my hub (C7) and that sorts it out and allows me then to just move the device to where I want it.
I’m using the Generic Multi-End point driver.

I have the Aussie version also and I use this driver - Zemismart ZigBee Wall Switch Multi-Gang.

If you search the forums you'll see there was extensive discussions about this model. it constantly leaves/rejoins the network. @kkossev was working with it and I think the defect was not resolvable in the driver, but don't quote me.

And if you have a C8 hub, this 2.3.9.157 - Zigbee plugs are found but do not function - #34 by kkossev might work

The pairing of some problematic Zigbee 3.0 devices is improved in the current BETA HE platform! :+1:

You can try this workaround until it is officially released.

Thanks for your help - I couldn't get it to work with the workaround, but I did manage to get the onle linked in bobbles' reply to work, so I'll return this one.
