ZEN35 Built in Driver

This driver needs some work. It is missing a number of parameters and defaults the dimmer to non-dim. Changing that parameter using the driver isn't easy as it doesn't show up. There is even at Type-o in the 3-way switch type parameter.

I'd use the community universal driver, but it doesn't have the setLED command which pretty important.

Thanks.

What parameters are you looking for? Not every built-in driver will expose every possible parameter, but you can use something like the Basic Z-Wave Tool to set any Z-Wave parameter on any device regardless of what driver you choose to use for normal device operation.

The driver doesn't change anything unless you choose a setting; otherwise, it's just the default from the device. For that setting:

This preference is there -- it's the one called "On/Off Only Mode" (probably the last one you'll see in the list), and you'll want to set it to "Disabled (on/off and dimming)". But I'm wondering if this is backwards and you might actually need to choose "Enabled (on/off only)", as the parameter descriptions look like they might be flipped around to me. If that's the issue, that's an easy fix!

Yes, I double checked and you are correct and probably why it started me down the Universal Dimmer driver path. That parameter (On/Off Only Mode) is backwards which brings be back to my original point that this driver really needs an update.

The backwards parameter will be fixed in 2.4.4, although there is no timeline for that release. In the meantime, you can select the opposite value (or none at all). Thanks for confirming!
