I have a zooz water shutoff (ZAC36) and a bunch of zooz water sensors (ZSE42) that I am going to bring over from ST. As I'm continuing to learn HE, I'm discovering that there are so many "power user" options that are available, and half the battle is knowing they exist. I've searched and found nothing.
I was planning on installing these as normal devices and just doing normal rules: If water sensed, turn off water valve....but curious if folks have a recommendation of a better way for me to integrate the water shutoff system I have in my house.
FWIW, I'm pretty sure all these devices are NOT LR. I'm pretty sure I purchesed these before LR versions were available.
The built in app "Hubitat Safety Monitor" (HSM) has a built in water alert section.
That is what I use with my ZAC36.
You can do the same thing with a rule but this makes it even easier.
Also be sure to check out my Zooz drivers:
[DRIVER] Zooz ZAC36 Titan Water Valve Actuator
[DRIVER] Zooz Sensors Advanced (ZSE11, ZSE18, ZSE40, ZSE41, ZSE42, ZSE43, ZSE44, ZSE70)

The Notifications app is no doubt easier -- if it can do what you want, it's a great choice. I initially set up my shut-off actions there, but then I came up with a couple scenarios that it couldn't handle so I set those up in RM.
But because my small brain gets forgetful & confused when I have "like" things spread across different apps, I ended up moving all my shut-off stuff to RM.
And that's a good approach as you're getting your feet under you with Hubitat -- start in the easier-to-use apps, and then leverage that experience to branch as necessary into the more complicated ones.
