Zooz has a recent similar entry, although "beta", lol.

Just got my test unit today. The thing is huge compared to their other stuff. It should work out of the box with my universal switch driver for basic functionality and settings.

The ability to have feedback on power usage is a nice feature to notify you of issues.
The price on the link window is really good too.

Compared to the price on the website.

But I'm sure by the time it's available locally the price after Robber Baron Tax (aka Zooz's Distribution Deal) will be closer to CDN$300.

All the Zooz item pages do this with the price when you link to them. I think there must be some sort of metadata hidden on the page that it is picking up to make those preview snapshots. I am guessing it is some sort of marketing strategy... Google might pick that up too for when it shows you items and prices on searches.

So I did get this [quote="Ranchitat, post:1, topic:157291"]

Connected up with no problem. It chose the Generic Z-Wave DT Binary Switch and works fine. Warranty is 1 year. Also price was only $47.99 with coupon. Question on driver, Restore state after power failure is a number, what does it mean? Usually have a choice of off, on or last state. Also what is the Load status report command setting number mean? I did order this before I saw the Zooz. @jtp10181, if I wanted to use one of your drivers which one would I try?

Probably start with this one:

Yes use that one above, its similar to the DT drivers and should be reading the same info. I think the settings info is required on new devices for zwave specs but it looks like unfortunately the mfg chose to just put the same text in both the title and description which is not very helpful. Hats off to Zooz as they have really been trying to get accurate quality info in those spots, even putting out firmware updates just to update the descriptions.

So the next place I would look is #1 the instructions manual, and if that does not have details then #2 the Zwave JS database https://devices.zwave-js.io/

If you take the device type and ID from the device details and convert those to hex, you can use them to search for your exact device.

@Johnnyvaneddie - are you using this in addition to the pool equipment controller or directly to control the pumps? I’m looking for a solution to basically turn off power to the pumps when necessary (we have solar+battery and I want to be able to shut the pool off if there is a power outage). My pool control panel is about 20 years old and the cost to replace that with something that I can control remotely is over $7K😳

I am using it to control my well pump, it is good for 40 amps so it can handle your pool pump as long as it is not 3 phase.

Thanks. Will get an electrician to come and take a look at it.
