Completely unprofessional to call out a frustrated user, around a separate privacy topic, and as expected, @Greenwave didn't exactly appreciate it.
In the last 20-30 posts, the wheels have come off this thread, and all semblance of civility is gone we're down to name calling, and snide comments, and sarcasm (from the last staff members post)

You’re right. Since it was reopened, we’ve had 3+ flags, people being misquoted, others being challenged on their knowledge base, and criticism of text formatting.
Waiting to see what’s next 
The best practice is to flag the post for moderator review and avoid continuing a side conversation, which only serves to prolong the issue.
I will say this, I use BOTH. Primarily, I use HA for cloud integrations that hubitat doesn't have, most specifically, the my subaru app.
I do not see this as a shortcoming of hubitat, and not really sure I want HE trying to duplicate the efforts that are being done on the HA side of this. The app is ever changing, and the developer is constantly having to update the app on the whims of Subaru. The strength in Hubitat is it's reliable local control and relative ease of rules/apps/etc as compared to HA. (Which HA is not that difficult if you have a logical brain. But, I find the interface on HE to be better). In fact, I use the HADB app to bring over the things from HA that I want in HE and control them there with a very few exceptions.
The other thing that I like better on HA vs HE is the location abilities for persons. We have notifications set up to tell us when one or the other has made it to work in adverse weather conditions. Saves us from having to remember to text when we get there. Even that, I run a rule in HE that when a virtual flag is turned on (Arrived at work), then the notification is sent if we have a secondary "Bad weather" virtual switch turned on.
I do not use a lot of dashboards primarily from either ecosystem, although the ones I do have are from HE. My idea of home automation is that it is automated, and the need for dashboards is and should be minimal. I have a dashboard for each of the tablets on each floor that shows the status of the doors, and lights on that floor. I have another dashboard for an app that I use for my weather station, and another for an "app" I use for my green egg. The HE dahsboards are more than capable for my uses. But, I can see where others who want more pushbutton (remote) control might find it cumbersome. Averyone's use cases are different. If I really cared about dashboards, I could dabble with the ones HE has (as I have already done with CSS) or play with what is available in HA.
I do not see home automation as any single source solution. I use and merge the ones that work best for me in specific situations. I woud actually rather that HE remain focused on staying the best local solution and maintain the flexibility to coexist with other ecosystems. I do not see it as an "either/or" situation as much as "what will play nicely with each other" scenario. That is one area that I think both HE and HA excel at.

Yup. Expectations beyond that of any system remain pie in the sky.
The same can often be said of humour.... But sometimes that can get you flagged... I know... not the point you were trying to make...
Somehow I feel I have had a mischievous and detrimental impact on what was what I would consider a largely productive conversation, if only at the beginning.
If we cannot laugh at ourselves and comments..... then we are done (I am afraid this is where we are heading lately)

For someone leaving the platform, @pascal.nohl has even eclipsed anyone who has hung around, in my eyes... It could take more targeted efforts to achieve what you want.. I think we need to discredit him outside of home automation... (again, joking in the extreme...)
Since 2017 I’ve been “migrating” from SmartThings for Hubitat, and Hubitat for Home Assistant. The only thing fully migrated is my excuses.
In the US we have a saying. We typically use it with children when they are young and learning how to use rules and debate fairly. It's used when a child doesn't account for their own behavior when leveling rules or criticism. Effectively, a double standard.

I'm impressed with your resolution to discuss something you aren't invested in. I'd love to harness that drive and energy into something truly meaningful. First world problems like automating smart devices for a personal amusement and convenience maybe isn't that, but it's a fun distraction from the world. Best of luck in your new adventures.
