Yes.

Not sure what you mean by default drive. There is only a single eMMC in the hub. You can download a backup externally.

Think of it this way, essentially the hub has 5 regions of “data” Firmware/OS Application/Driver code Local Storage Zwave Radio Data Zigbee Radio Data A normal backup will cover regions 2 & 5, a Hub Protect backup will cover all regions but 3 (region 4 only on C5 and C7s) but zigbee devices will need to be re-paired to become active again. Region 1 is recoverable from the diagnostics page.

I'm using a bash script to download the latest backup of my hubitat database. I am using the following link in my wget command: http://[hubip]/hub/backup?fileName=latest What's happening though is that the hub is creating a new backup and downloading that, rather than the latest backup that is available. Am I using the wrong link or is this the only method available? I can't just download the last file the hub created?

Not sure what you mean by default drive.

Just guessing that the OP may have mean the downloaded location for the backup itself. If so, this is a function of your web browser and possibly OS and should work the same as other downloads, and it's not something you can set on the hub. (Many browsers will just download to a Downloads folder or other predetermined location without further interaction, but there are usually options to be prompted for all files or certain types. Hubitat is an .LZF file, on a related note.)

(Many browsers will just download to a Downloads folder or other predetermined location without further interaction, but there are usually options to be prompted for all files or certain types. Settings vary by browser but you can google "browsername change download location" for instructions. Here is one for Google Chrome as an example.

I use both FireFox and Chrome on my PC and have both set to prompt me each time for the download location vs always putting files into a specific unstructured folder.
