We’re excited to announce that the long-awaited upgrade to our subscription platform has been successfully completed! This update brings major improvements to reliability, transparency, and ease of use across my.hubitat.com, including the Registered Hubs and Subscriptions pages.
This upgrade modernizes several core systems behind the scenes while also delivering smoother, more predictable user experiences. Below is a summary of what’s new.
Release Notes
Core Improvements
- Eliminated legacy blockers and the various auto-closure workarounds that previously affected sign-ups and renewals.
- Restored payment reprocessing and re-enabled pre-expiration reactivation, so users can recover failed charges or restart services without waiting.
- Standardized recurring discounts, including automatic enforcement of “best value” limits to prevent stacking beyond eligibility.
- Automated discount removal when eligibility ends, ensuring accuracy and consistency across accounts.
- Streamlined all subscription-related email templates and messaging flows, improving clarity and reducing confusion during renewals, upgrades, and payment events.
- Updated the Registered Hubs page and the Subscriptions page on my.hubitat.com to reflect services more accurately and present details more clearly.
With these changes in place, subscription management is now more predictable, more transparent, and significantly easier to navigate.

If you aren’t seeing the latest updates on my.hubitat.com or the Subscriptions page, your browser may still be loading cached data. A hard refresh forces the browser to reload everything from the server instead of using old files.
Below are quick instructions for all major platforms and browsers.

- Press Ctrl + F5
or - Press Ctrl + Shift + R
Force Clear Cache for a Single Page (Chrome / Edge)
- Press F12 to open Developer Tools.
- Right-click the Reload button.

Android (Chrome)
Android doesn’t support a keyboard-based hard refresh, but you can force a fresh load:
- Tap the â‹® menu in Chrome.
- Tap Reload.
If the page still looks outdated:
- Go to ⋮ → Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data.
- Select Cached images and files.
- Tap Clear data, then reload the page.
iOS Safari (iPhone/iPad)
Hard Refresh
- Open the page in Safari.
- Tap and hold the Reload icon.
- Choose Reload Without Content Blockers.
If issues persist
- Open Settings → Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data.
- Reopen Safari and load the page again.
iOS Chrome (iPhone/iPad)
Hard Refresh
Chrome on iOS doesn’t have a true hard refresh, but you can force a clean reload:
- Tap the ••• menu.
- Tap Reload.
If the cached version persists
- Go to ••• → Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data.
- Select Cached Images and Files.
- Tap Clear Browsing Data, then refresh the page.
