Unable to remove device from zwave settings

My situation is a bit different in that my ghost device says it is pending. When I first saw it there was a path:

But after the Remove didn't work I tried to refresh it and the path went away:

I tried to a Remove again, but that still didn't work. So as I understand it from the rest of this thread with no path there is no harm in just leaving it alone, correct?

You still want to remove it because at some point something is going to try using it and then the downward spiral begins...

Issue became moot. My ghost device has just disappeared.
