Trying to setup C5 after being in storage for 4 years, stuck on Initializing 10%

Hello Everyone,
So... have been traveling for a while and finally got all my gear out of storage after 4 years and I am trying to set up my C5 Hubitat Hub (Platform Version 2.2.7.126). The Modem & Wifi Router are the same as what I was using 4 years ago.
My Hubitat app on the iPhone is seeing the hub but it is stuck at initializing at 10%. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting but that is it.
Is the C5 still supported? I presume the hub needs to be updated, how if I can't connect?
Any advice is welcomed. Thank you!!

EDIT: Have since found that likely the app I was using is obsolete, updated to new hub app and have discovered the hub but I am getting a notice "Hub is not responsive, please make sure it is online and connected to the cloud"
However still stuck at 10% and hub has never been connected to the cloud as far as I know.

Absolutely!
What colour is the C5's LED?

Have a look at this thread for some tips.

You could try the hub’s address:8080 to see if there are some options in there that would work. It should also allow you to update the platform version or reset the hub which might help.

That's great news its still supported, I'm an Iris transplant with lots of old gear!

The LED is red.

I'll have a read, thanks...

I'll admit I'm not the most technical guy.

I did try to get into the diagnostic tool using the hub ip address that I found in the 'find hub' tool. I didn't get anywhere :frowning:

I'll see if I can get an updated hub ip.

That’s not a good sign.

It should be blue or green if the hub’s main interface or diagnostic interface are actually running.

This means it is shut down. Unplug and replug it. Once you see it getting stuck at the boot sequence go to the diagnostic tool. Hubitat Diagnostic Tool | Hubitat Documentation

First thing to try would be a soft reset. If there is nothing on the hub and no subscription you can also wipe is clean with a full reset (in advanced).

EDIT: Your diag tool might be out of date and not have advanced in it. Post screenshot of what you have if you cannot get the soft reset to fix it.

Thanks everyone, I was able to reset the network settings, compete a soft reset and then get into the diagnostic area to update the hub and ultimately get it running.
I have successfully added my Iris v1 outlets, an extender and two buttons. I am however having a nightmare of a time getting any other buttons, motion detectors or door/window contacts to join the network. I can reset them, get them flashing, search and find the devices but it will simply not initialize them. I was flukey to get the two buttons added.
I have booted the hub down and will leave it for a while and come back to it once it and myself have reset
Any tips on getting the system to acknowledge these battery operated devices.
Thanks again.

Zigbee or Z-wave?
Would be helpful if you gave exact model numbers as well.

Sorry, all my devices are Zigbee Alert Me/Iris V1.
DWS901 - Contact sensor
BTN800 - Button
MOT901 - Motion sensor

I have 17 of these devices and only 2 have successfully connected past the search and initialize screen.

I am not the person to help with those, if I think of who to tag I will come and tag them.

Set your wifi for 6 and under and you zigbee at 15, 20, or 25 and see how things behave.
