It apprears your experience isn't unique. It looks like these are very hard to reset once paired to Wink. They reset when paired to other z-wave controllers (Vera in specific):

Hello fine HE community! I am a recent Wink refugee and am quite impressed with the posts I find here in the community. People seem to be doing their best to be helpful, especially to us newbies.
