Thermostat Scheduler Away Mode

Hello,

I'm trying to better understand the "away settings" in the thermostat scheduler. I believe this is related to the hub system mode, but these modes can be renamed or deleted. When in "time periods" mode, how does the thermostat scheduler app decide when to switch into "away mode" as defined in the period settings table?

Don't rename or delete Away if you want to use it in any apps.

Thanks that's helpful to know. I have to say it's a great experience getting so much help. I don't mind bugs as long as I know what the issue is and that a solution is forthcoming.
