Tapo Matter Devices no longer working?

I have Model C8 and had some matter devices (TAPO switches and dimmers) added to my system and where working well... All of a sudden they stopped responding from Hubitat APP and they show with an X on matter details... WHats weird is that they do work with the regular Tapo app... how to fix this? Why did this happened?

Thanks!

Try disabling the Matter interface and then enabling it back - will this help?
If not, does rebooting the HE hub resolve the issue?

The reason for the red :x: signs is not easy to be determined.

To add to @kkossev try unplugging and plugging them back in to reinit on the fabric

Question: Do the Matter devices talk to the parent controller (i.e., Amazon) to control the devices from Hubitat?

If so, could this be an indication of a comms problem between Hubitat and Amazon?

I ask this because the Hubitat Amazon Echo Skill has been having communications issues with Hubitat. If you don't select "respond immediately", the device is controlled; however, you will get a message stating device was not reachable. From the Alexa app, you can turn the device on but the status is not updated. (PS - I reinstalled the Echo Skill and the same behavior persists.) So, the command streams work both ways, the status stream is broken.

PS: This was fixed after install the update yesterday.

Echo would not be the parent controller. Once it's part of the fabric, any other matter controller will hang onto to it. . So even if you commissioned with your echo, it will still remain on hubitat regardless of the echo. Now its a tiny bit different for thread matter/thread devices. For that there has to be at least 1 TBR in the fabric to maintain it.

Im not sure if its linked through the Echo device or Eero router to be honest. How can I check? I tried disabling and enabling matter devices and for a while it shows a "check" but still it doesnt work.... I disable and enable the hubitat skill on Alexa but it didnt work either. Any clue? Thanks!!

If it's showing paired to any of your matter controllers, you just have to share it with the others. Once it's shared, you can remove what ever you want.

If all else fails, the Tapo Community Integration works with the Tapo (and KASA) matter devices as a normal device. All Matter functionality plus.

DO you have a link for this?
Thanks!

Please read the instructions carefully. The app and drivers must both be loaded by you (using HPM or manually) (common error).

But again, only if all else fails. I am not competing with the Hubitat Matter integration. This capability is because TP-Link has chosen to have both matter and Lan interfaces in the devices.
