Thank you. A simple fix that worked completely.
Sorry if this was already mentioned in the thread (I did a search but couldn't find the answer) - can I use the blind tilt directly with a hubitat c-7 via Google home or do I need the switchbot hub?
I have never used Google Home for much of anything but I just added it and tried it; works fine.
I have a C8 though.
I have a Meter Pro unit that I picked up on a black friday sale. Would this same trick work for that? It doesn't create a child device for it. I also tried bringing it in via Matter with my Hub Mini but that doesn't work either just gives a temperature reading of 32 which is neither accurate for C or F lol.
Possibly could work, you'd have to figure out what deviceType it is, and add it as Meter.
(like above - "MeterPlus", "WoIOSensor")
Maybe you'll get temp/humidity if the format is the same, but not any of the newer features
I’ll see if I can figure it out. The only extra feature it has over their regular Meter units is it can display a secondary temperature source on its display so I have my outdoor sensor display as the secondary. I only care about the internal sensor.
Hiiii
I'm in a similar problem
I have this adding pushing button Create Child Devices:
dev:1402025-01-14 21:28:42.302debugdevice = [deviceType:Meter, hubDeviceId:, deviceId:F4203C9CE938, deviceName:Meter, enableCloudService:false]

i see the Meter from the app log:

where is my error?
Thanks
@tomw please help
@tomw Hey! First off, thank you for the custom driver. I love it for my multiple SwitchBot devices! I use a SwitchBot mini hub to connect my devices to my Hubitat hub but I've run into a problem. The Hubitat device integration doesn't seem to recognize the new Smart Meter Pro CO2. Is this just something that can be added to the driver or is there something I'm doing wrong? Here's a screenshot of the error I'm getting in the logs.
