Thanks for mentioning this . I wish the routing report worked with these like it does when using the Ikea Tradfri outlet driver with my Hue outlets. It’s nice to get some better insight into how well they are working. The problem is that now I’m thinking I’m going to need an Xbee so I can get a complete network map and I’m sure you can understand that I blame you for this

If you'll take my word, the Sonoff USB sticks work well as repeaters. I have several end devices repeating through the one that I have.

I know. I could see the lqi for some of mine from the Hue outlets. They appear to be quite a bit stronger than the HE hub. I’m using the newer firmware for them that boosts their output to 9dbm.

Hi everyone. I´ve been playing with a Sonoff Bridge I had flashed some time ago, and kept in a drawer for some time.

I updated Tasmota and Zigbee Router firmware as suggested, and finally I configured it according to digiblurDIY.

He suggests to configure Module, and select SonoffZbBridge (75), and later on he suggests to configure Template as a Sonoff ZigRouter which changes the Module to Sonoff ZigRouter(0).

I can select any of the two modules (SzBridge(75) or SZRouter(0) by hand, but both have different menu options on the GUI.

Does anyone can suggest how to define which one is the correct one to make the device to act as a Zigbee Router?

Got my new HE hub C7 before launching the latest one. Nevermind, after taking decisions to with HE,i want to strengthen coverage, will flashing Sonoff ZigBee bridge Pro can connect to HE through same steps demonstrated in ur article?

MIne is still working fine and I just migrated to the C-8. I don't know why things would change.

I did it a year ago. I don't know if anything has changed. All I can tell you is that it worked in March 2022 and the bridge is still attached to my hub even after last week's migration from a C-5 to a C-8.

No, since all it does is repeat the signal for your mesh, there isn't a special driver or app. It should join as a "Device".

I changed mine to a Ikea TRADFRI Signal Repeater to get the "Get Link Quality" and "Get Route Table" commands.

These can be tricky to join to the hub...I and others had best/consistent results via below pairing process:

Pairing with your hub after flashing - useful tips!
Important: In many cases pairing w/your hub after flashing can be difficult. Two effective options that have had reliable success are:

1. Start Zigbee pairing on your hub and then press and hold the Reset button on the dongle while connecting it to power.
2. Start Zigbee pairing on your hub and then start the flash of the dongle on your pi/computer. When the flashing ends the dongle automatically goes into pairing mode so it will be ready to join your hub and should be picked up.

I and others have had to try multiple times to get the SonOff to pair after flashing. So I'd give options 1 and 2 above a few tries each. For the first one, hold the reset button on the SonOff dongle until you plug it in and then you can let go once it's connected to power.

I haven't had any dongles fail to join using either of above methods, and don't remember hearing from anyone that theirs would not pair at all. Hopefully it will work out for you.

After carefully and exactly following the instructions from the link in my original post, mine worked so I am not much help trouble-shooting. It only didn't worked when I skipped a step. Sorry I can't be more help.
