Just got an email from Soma:

We are thrilled to announce a major upgrade to our SOMA Smart Shades 3! Your favorite smart window shades motors are now equipped with native built-in Zigbee support , bringing seamless integration and extended control to your smart home setup.

There's a software update via the phone app that enables Zigbee support. I've done it, and Hubitat sees the device and starts the initialization, but never gets any farther (in all 3 init modes).

Ideas, anyone?
