Working on Hestia, a new smart home dashboard for Hubitat. This is currently in the testing phase after its recent launch.
The primary goals for Hestia are:
- To create a central dashboard experience that resides entirely within Hubitat.
- To eliminate the need for third-party applications or additional hardware, integrating solely via MakerAPI.
- To provide a simple, high-WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) design, making it a straightforward, "plug-and-play" solution without significant complexity.
The next phases include:
- Including security panel features to monitor contact sensors, freeze sensors, smoke/co detectors, control door locks and integrate with HSM
