Shelly Wave devices not listed

Shelly has come out with Z-Wave compatible devices, such as the Shelly Wave 1. However, Hubitat's compatible list does not list these new devices. I use the Shelly Wave 1. Yet on list when is Shelly Switch Wi-Fi. It does recognize this device and it links but is it connecting through Wi-Fi or Z-Wave and is it seeing its full capability? Can any one answer how I should connect to this device to ensure full capability. Secondly is Hubitat behind in placing compatible devices on their list to connect?

As far as I know, the Hubitat team typically adds devices on their list once they have tested them and confirmed they work on their platform.

If you have one of these Z-Wave devices, then yes, it is connecting to the hub via Z-Wave. Typically, if it works by default, a generic driver will be used and that might provide you with all the capabilities you need. Sometimes, there are other capabilities that power users want to have, and in those cases, community drivers will typically fill that need.

Thought I read somewhere that Shelly Z-Wave was rebranded Qubino devices.

What does the device data section from your switch show?

I'm also interested in support for the Shelly Wave devices. I've recently purchased a number of Shelly Wave devices including Wave PM Mini, Wave 1 and Wave 1 Mini. All work (to a degree) using this community-developed driver ([RELEASE]Shelly Wave 1PM Driver). The only strange behaviour is that when connected to my fridge/freezer (average load ~35W) the energy reading only updates every 1.5 - 3 hours. In contrast, I have some ESP8266-based Wi-Fi smart plugs that report energy changes every 30s or so.
