Yay - it's working! I created two webhooks, one for when the switch is on and one for when the switch is off and now the device state updates in HE whether I turn the switch on/off via HE app or manually.
Just curious, what's the difference between 'when input is on' and 'when switch is on'?:
Not sure.... have you read any of the docs for the device? https://shelly-api-docs.shelly.cloud/
Thanks I found the below in the below, but I it doesn't make much sense to me. I still don't see the distinction between input on and switch on. Any ideas?
In other, more disappointing news, I seem to be having some issues with the module. It still works fine when triggered directly from within the device page in hubitat. It also works fine when using the physical switch. And, I can see that the state is being correctly update in HE when I change it either from within HE or at the physical switch.
But, the motion lighting automation I have has been a bit janky. I turned logs on and noticed this in the device log. What could be causing this error:
Not a shelly issue but a network one, last 2 lines are the reasons.
Got my Shelly Plus US devices up and running. Thank you for the code. I have one issue, it seems like Google Home integration will not see the devices and when I add them into the Google Home they simply disappear. These operate as a switch so they should in theory should work just like the other Shelly older devices, yet something Google Home does not like about the device driver.
I ended up creating a virtual switch and teaming it to the Shelly Plus device to mimic the on off and added it to Google Home. I think the temperature settings is not allowing the Shelly device to be used in Google Home in the capability of the driver.
Google Home not supported!! I have stated this before.
Thanks, the Google Home integration long term may be an issue with Shelly and Hubitat. I want to eventually move on from Z-InconsistantWave to WiFi and local control is a must. Shelly Plus Wall Dimmer looks really promising and hopefully a Shelly Plus Wall Switch is also planned.
When will the Shelly driver support the Wall Dimmer?
When I get one and/or when I get around to coding a driver for it.
too all here.... I had a massive stroke last week and have lost movement on my left side. I can no longer talk either but I will be working on the drivers as best as I can. Each day gets better for me from PT and my speech therapist. It will take me months to get back being normal. Sorry about this.
May you have a complete and speedy recovery!
Best wishes!

Geez Scott - Iβm so sorry to hear this. I also am just seeing it now. Please take care of yourself and get well soon!
Just a update on me... doing much better and have regained most of my left side movements.. I can type good enough at least but my speech is still slow like I am drunk but I am alive at least !!
Thanks for all the well wishes !!
