Sengled Zigbee 5M (16.4ft) RBGW LED Strip US$25

These 'starter kits' are now US$24.99 each!

These were $100 last year, dropped to $50 this spring, and are now on clearance since Sengled is gone. But that doesn't matter; they are just Zigbee devices.

The starter kit includes:

  • a 5M RBGW coated LED strip with an integrated Zigbee controller/power brick
  • a Sengled 4 button Zigbee remote (E1E-G7F).
  • e-waste in the form of a useless Sengled Zigbee hub

The LED strip is only RBGW. These look great if you want white at 2700K. Any other color temp just turns on the blue LED and looks awful.

Both devices pair easily and get the correct device type automatically.

I should add that I'm adding LED strips to closets and was looking for some 5M strips. These look like they'll work great. I especially like that I won't need to deal with separate controllers and strips (and ugly wiring inbetween).

All gone, evidently...at least in US store.

Still Showing available for me. Maybe they restocked already.

Odd - still unavailable for me. Are you using the link in the OP?

Weird...I'm being blocked!! Maybe don't want to ship to the west coast area?

Or they have cut you off due to over spending

I remember buying and returning one of the battery eating Sengled Button controllers in the past.

Not a deal breaker if you're buying the kit for the strip, but there might be an issue with the included switch.

Not bad but the remote is trash. You'll never know if you pushed a button or not, there is zero tactile feel. It's more of a "push and pray" setup. And above all, if you value your HA setup , never give one of these remotes to SWMBO.

Give me your address I'll add it to my account and see if they'll ship. Watch me get banned from Amazon for shipping to "unsavory characters"

That would be a fun end-around. Maybe you and I both would be BANNED!!

But...the discussion got me out in the garage, remembering I had should have some Zigbee LED strips that I hadn't used during our last remodel five or six years ago. Luckily I did not Goodwill them, have three complete strips and one that I shotened a bit. So the good news for me is I didn't buy what I already have! (There is rumor that I might have done that once or twice in the past.) :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

Ha, now that you mention it, I have a tote of about 12 strips, somewhere in the garage. Thought the wife would be excited as I was about them. I was summarily dismissed with "what do you think we're running a carnival over here?" So the LED strips went in the garage and I had to dismiss the bearded lady and the mermaid, on the same day !

ROFL- bearded lady might not qualify these days as carnival material. "IT"S MAAAM!!"

Still in stock for me. I just bought 3 more.

Odd, I'm getting a click the buttons when I press, and they are being reported by the device just fine. I did find the double press was sometimes also reporting a single press. It's weird, only the On/Off buttons report double at all:

But, I'm not planning on using the button controllers. I don't need no stinking buttons! When I have them all I'll just given them away for shipping.
